PIPELINE VENTILATOR

Safer manhole. Faster stringer.

Our Ripcord Pipeline Ventilator creates a safe work environment almost instantly with cross ventilation. When used as a pipeline line stringer, your line will be pulled manhole to manhole in seconds. Cut deflection testing time by over half when used to pull our aluminum Whistle Deflection Gauges.

THE RIGHT SIZE FOR ANY JOB
Available in two different sizes, our Ripcord Pipeline Ventilator fits any manhole opening between 18” and 30” while providing 4,130 CFM at 3.0" WG. These sewer main smokers are best for lines up to 48”. The Super Pipeline Sewer Smoker, on the other hand, fits pipe line manhole openings from 24” to 30”, and provides 8,761 CFM at 3.0" WG. It is also best for lines up to 48”. Both sewer main ventilator models are available Briggs & Stratton engines.
SAFE LINES INSTANTLY
Cross ventilation removes dangerous gases from the system virtually instantly, while blow in sewer main ventilation only dilutes them.
QUIET WORK SPACE
With the pipeline ventilation machine placed at an adjacent manhole, there are no noisy engines sitting above the person working in the manhole.
QUICK DEFLECTION TEST
Connect the a parachute to your Whistle Deflection Gauge, and the rope reel to the other side. Start your sewer line ventilator at an adjacent manhole, lower in the deflection gauge, and it will pull through the line in under 20 seconds - a fraction of the time of standard pipeline deflection tests.
CAST ALUMINUM PROP
Precision balanced cast aluminum props provide years of dependable service on our sewer line ventilators and smoke testing equipment. They do not warp like plastic props will due to the heat of sitting directly under an engine.
BLOW IN VENTILATION
For areas where cross ventilation isn't possible, we offer a blow in ventilation kit.
KIT FOR LINE STRINGING
Use the Ripcord Ventilator for lightening fast line stringing with our line stringing kit.
